When I was asked to design something for the attendees of the first Laine Retreat, I thought… what would I like to knit if I have to make something while I am relaxing? I would like something with a bit of interest, but mostly something that I don’t have to pay a lot of attention to… Something that has a loose comfortable fit so I am not worried if it’s a little big, or a little small ;)
And something that reminds me of the good weather and the blooming flowers of the Portuguese coast, where the retreat is being held at.
That’s how this sweater was born.
