I began my journey as a knitwear designer many years ago… And sometimes it was a very lonely job. But somehow along that journey I met a very special friend, Julie, and every since I have felt much more confident and I’ve always had someone to ask for advise and opinion.
A few months ago I was going to travel and I needed a new project to carry with me (something easy but beautiful) and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to create a new design as a tribute to my dear friend, with whom I share most of my tastes.
Therefore, Julie’s wrap is based on Julie’s favorite elements, which happen to be my favorite elements too!
This is a very simple design, with a rectangular body featuring an ocean of garter stitch, a lot of twisted ribbing and of course: a bobble edge. The most important thing: It’s super elegant and warm at the same time.
I love you dear Julie, I hope this design makes you proud!
You can find Julie as @evieandlily everywhere.

22 sts and 36 rows in garter st on US 6 (4 mm) needles, after blocking.
This shawl is worked in 2 stages. The first section of the shawl is a simple rectangle in garter stitch worked flat. When you finish this section you must pick up sts all around it and work the edge piece in the round in twisted ribbing.
